Use of Moneta

Mobitel and Debitel subscribers use Moneta as:

  • an automatically integrated Mobitel and Debitel service. Costs of purchases made by Moneta are added monthly to the mobile phone bill;

  • bank service approved by Nova KBM. Costs of purchase by Moneta are monthly charged directly against your bank account held with Nova KBM.
  • To Mobi users available only as a bank service provided by Nova KBM.

    In both cases payment is deferred, since the costs of purchases made by Moneta are settled monthly. The amount which can be spent monthly is limited, the statement of transactions can be checked and a separate account may be required for settling costs arising from the use of Moneta. Most of these settings are included in the chapter Help and settings.

    Moneta provided by Mobitel

    Main advantages:

    • all Mobitel Debitel and Simobil subscribers are automatically provided Moneta free of charge,
    • it is membership fee-free,
    • it enables payment on websites and the mobile portal Planet,
    • purchases can be checked regularly (send an SMS with the key word MONETA to 1919).

    Moneta can be used only on your mobile phone. Successful purchases and calls required for them (0,04 EUR/call) are paid monthly based on issued mobile phone bill.

    Moneta as bank service

    Nova KBM Moneta is designed for Mobi users and, of course, also Mobitel GSM/UMTS and Debitel subscribers holding a bank account with Novi KBM. Upon approval, you will, in addition to Moneta certificate, be issued an MPP password and the MPN number for mobile payments, which are used to activate/deactivate Moneta for a certain mobile number.

    The procedure is simple: call 1800 from the mobile number for which you want to activate/deactivate Moneta and follow the automated operator's instructions.

    Main advantages:

    • you can choose between personal, business and authorised version of Nova KBM Moneta. This means that you can settle the costs directly from your personal or transaction account or from the account for which you are authorised,
    • monthly limit is set according to your banking transactions,
    • payments are additionally secured by a PIN code,
    • up to 6 versions of Moneta can be used on a single mobile phone, i.e. mobile phone number, related to personal and/or business accounts of which you are holder or for which you are authorised,
    • if you change your mobile phone number, mobile phone or subscription, you can at any time transfer Moneta to the new mobile phone number yourself. This is possible also if the mobile phone is lost or stolen. The transfer procedure is simple.

    Moneta as Nova KBM service can be used with any mobile phone on which it is activated. The costs of successful purchases are debited monthly directly from your bank account, whereas the charges of data connection needed for purchases (0,04 EUR/connection) are added to the subscriber's monthly mobile phone bill.
