How the Moneta mobile payment system functions

Payment procedure

Every Moneta payment is carried out as a data transfer from the provider's point of sale to the Processing Centre and back.

The Processing Centre is set up within the company M-Pay d. o. o.

Upon payment, the user establishes connection with the Processing Centre via his/her mobile phone. The Processing Centre obtains provider identification and the amount of payment, at the same time checking the user's payment capability, and approves the purchase. Data about the user are of course available only to the Processing Centre and not the point of sale.

Payment procedure is user-friendly, but somewhat differs depending on the point of sale (vending machine, website, POS terminal, phone sales).
